Asia-Pacific Research Colloquium

The Asia-Pacific Research Colloquium (APRC) serves as a platform for engaging discussions and sharing of new research across disciplines by researchers, educators, practitioners, and students across the Asia-Pacific region. The region continues to witness rapid economic, technological, environmental and socio-cultural changes and transformations that underscore the need for collaborative and evidence-based approaches to inform policy-making, practice, and education.

The colloquium aims to promote academic collaboration and engagement in a culture of inquiry that transcends national and disciplinary boundaries. It encourages sharing of new research findings, critical perspectives, and localization of ideas that can contribute to sustainable development, inclusive education, and cultural understanding in the region.
The APRC cultivates a diverse environment for intellectual engagement, capacity building and strengthening of research networks in the Asia-Pacific through the convergence of multiple voices and perspectives.

It recognizes that the Region will benefit from the support provided to young researchers in their efforts to present their works, receive constructive feedback, and network with established researchers and practitioners. Consistent with global trends and demands as well as regional priorities, the Asia-Pacific Research Colloquium highlights the role of interdisciplinary and trans-national research as a foundation for evidence-based action, policy-making and knowledge development.

Asia-Pacific Top Educator Awards

The objective of the Asia-Pacific Top Educator Awards is to pay tribute to outstanding education professionals in the Asia-Pacific region who, through their commitment, innovation and impact, represent the best educational efforts. The goal is to make visible the vital importance of the role of the educator in building a better society, the promotion of academic excellence and the full development of human beings. In an age of progress marked by globalization, technological advancement and educational strategies of various kinds, it is imperative to recognize those who have not only adjusted to the changes but have become agents of them. It promises to be a safe space to make best practices known, to share inspiring stories, and to promote a culture of continuous improvement of professionals who work in all kinds of educational contexts.

As a Teacher, Master Teacher, Principal, or District/Program Supervisor, you are welcome and encouraged to participate in the newly launched Asia-Pacific Top Educator Awards program.
